Dr. Himanshu Pathak, Secretary (DARE) and Director General (ICAR), inaugurated modern facilities for entrepreneurs established at Agri Business Incubation Centre, ICAR - Central Institute for Subtropical Horticulture, Lucknow on April 14, 2024. On this occasion, the institute organized institute B2B meeting of exporters and mango growers, commercialized three technologies (CISH-Ambika, Mango Wine, and Mango Rootstock Sagarika), signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Borlaug Web Services (BWS), Kolkata for the development of a block chain technology for mango traceability throughout the entire supply chain, and unveiled five technical publications. The DG ICAR also chaired the pannel discussion for promotion of mango exports from India. Mrs. Vinita Sudhanshu, GM APEDA, Dr. V. B. Patel, Dr. Rajan, Dr. Damodaran, Dr. Bikash Das and Rajesh Yadav were the panelists of the session. A total of 33 startups are starting the effective deployment of CISH technology. The custom hiring facilities has been started for post harvest handling of mango.
